need a little help

All members who regularly post here know that there are strict rules about posting e-Bay auctions and mentioning sellers by name. Moderators delete e-Bay links to auctions just because of problems like this. We are not here to be a second source of e-Bay feedback. We are here to discuss American Girl Dolls in an atmosphere of friendship and support.

Before members are allowed to join our board, they have to agree to the rules. Here is the rule regarding e-Bay sellers:

Do not mention specific sellers or bidders in any way except for praise. Do not use the board to accuse sellers of anything, because mistakes can be made and misunderstandings can take place. A bidder/seller's ebay feedback and rating should speak for iteself.

Additionally, if you ask people on the board to help you identify a fake or an untrue statement in an auction description (remember, you cannot post a link to the auction), and the consensus turns out that the item probably is fake or some untrue statement has been made about it, it is against ebay rules to contact any of the bidders on the auction and warn them away from the item.

Hi to all AG fans...I'm (obviously) new to this, but happy to find you. I'm curious how this year's MCM Benefit sale was. I've never been able to make it, but would really love to (some day). It's a $500.+ airfare, so I am curious if it's worth it. Are the deals really great? Thanks for any info you can provide.

Sadly, there's not much moderators can do about private correspondence. To hopefully help you feel a little better, I've never seen anything that malicious posted here.
